From what I've seen, there is so little work out there in the Bay & down in "LaLa Land". Each time I come home (S.F.) for a visit, I keep tabs on the local scene & from my view... iT AIN'T PRETTY :-( Look, it's gotten so bad here in NYC that the D.J. scene is NOW in the same miserable state that our LIVE MUSIC scene has endured for 8-10 years. I can only imagine how frustrating it is for the local cats out there in CALIFORNIA. The only solace I have is that all ART/fashion/STYLE is cyclical...
